What Makes Us Different?
We aim to ensure all children leave nursery with a positive disposition for learning so that they will become lifelong learners. We maintain a broad and balanced atmosphere of learning through play, always keen to enrich this learning further.
Every child, from inquisitive little tot to dynamic preschooler, has their own personality; their own little quirks, likes, dislikes and interests. And they all develop at their own pace. We want to give them as many new, interesting and stimulating experiences as we can, to develop their knowledge, imagination and personality and help them grow into confident individuals. They’re supported along the way by their own key person and a caring team who get to know each unique child and encourage different aspects of their abilities and
personality.

Dedicated Key Person
Research has shown that a key person approach is the most effective way of ensuring children develop a strong relationship with a significant adult in nursery. This gives every child the reassurance to feel safe, secure and cared for in the nursery environment.
Your child will be allocated a key person in their room who will be responsible for meeting their individual needs and respond sensitively to their feelings, ideas and behaviour. They will offer security, reassurance, and continuity to you and your child. Your child will also have a ‘buddy’ key person for when their key person is absent. Your key person or buddy will liaise with you at the beginning and end of each day, keeping you informed of your child’s experiences whilst at nursery.
Their key person carries out regular observations of your child, to ensure they are planning a stimulating environment and activities around your child’s interests and needs, whilst moving him or her onto their next steps in their learning and development.
These observations cover all areas of learning, as well as recording special moments and achievements such as being kind to others or trying something for the first time.
DIDDI DANCE
Diddi Dance classes are designed to help your diddi ones enhance their co-ordination and rhythm. We are here to nurture their natural love of movement in a structured yet relaxed 45 minute class.
We use ribbons and hoops to help them get the most from each funky Diddi Dance track as well as other fun props which change with different dance themes such as salsa and disco so they also learn about lots of music and dance styles as well as having tons of fun!
