Babies Room
6 WEEKS - 15 MONTHS
Our baby room is decorated with calm colours to give a homely feel. There is children’s artwork on the walls, mobiles hanging from the ceiling, comfy chairs and large cushions.
There is a separate sleep area for your baby, where each baby has their own labeled cot, with their own sheets and blankets.
We provide formula milk for babies, and we’ll follow your feeding routine. The Baby Room has a dedicated milk preparation area and we can also store and prepare bottles of expressed milk if you’re breastfeeding. You can breastfeed at the nursery and there’s a special area to sit if you prefer a bit of privacy.
When your child is ready to start weaning, our varied weaning menu, freshly prepared by our chef, will allow them to experiment with different flavours and textures, based on their nutritional needs.
Most staff are Level 3 qualified or higher and only our most experienced staff work with this young age range. Staff to child ratio is no more than one to three in the baby room and often exceeds these minimum requirements.
Your child will have a key person, who will be there to care for them whilst at nursery. They will care for them giving stability and continuity which is very important for children at this age, this also means that staff are fully aware of your baby’s individual needs and stages of development, and ensure that your baby feels safe and secure whilst at nursery.
The routine in the Baby Room is very flexible as we follow your baby’s routine and not one set by the nursery. You will be asked for full details of your baby’s routine during settling in sessions.
