Our approach to eating encompasses all three, with a combination of sociable mealtimes, balanced nutrition and varied freshly prepared menus. We know it's good stuff, and as the plates come back empty, the children must think so too. 


We offer a fresh seasonal mouth-watering range of meals and snacks. Our commitment to being healthy is demonstrated by all our nurseries achieving ‘PLATINUM HEALTHY EATING AWARDS’ and after rigorous Environmental Health inspections Rated 5 STAR centres. 

Mealtimes

Each mealtime is a happy, relaxed and sociable occasion and a new opportunity to learn. Children sit in small groups with a member of staff who leads by example; encouraging them to try new things, helping to serve and initiating conversation. Children have a natural curiosity, which we extend to food, introducing new flavours and textures to smell and taste.

Nutrition

Our nutritionally balanced food is freshly prepared on site by our qualified chef who minimises the use of sugar and other additives, never adds salt, serves a minimum of four portions of fruit and veg each day, and uses local suppliers whenever possible. 


Menus are planned specifically to meet children’s nutritional needs, our award winning menus are healthy and well balanced.


If your child has specific dietary requirements, whether medical, cultural, ethical, religious or just based on your personal preference, we’ll do our best to accommodate their individual diet.
